THE GOSPEL

JESUS IS WAITING FOR YOU

You Don't Have to Have It All Together to Come to God

"Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
— Matthew 11:28

Welcome

If you're reading this, maybe you're searching for something more.

Maybe you've been hurt by people.

Maybe you've made mistakes you can't seem to move past.

Maybe you're carrying guilt, fear, anxiety, or questions.

Or maybe you're simply curious about who Jesus is.

Wherever you are in your journey, we're so glad you're here.

We want you to know one thing before you read another word:

God loves you.

Not a future version of you.

Not a perfect version of you.

You, right now.

Nothing you've done is too great for His grace, and no one is too far from His love.

What Is the Gospel?

The word gospel simply means "good news."

The good news is that God created you to know Him and have a relationship with Him.

But every one of us has sinned. Sin separates us from God and keeps us from experiencing the life He designed for us.

The Bible says:

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
— Romans 3:23

The beautiful part of the story is that God didn't leave us separated.

Because of His great love, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live the perfect life we could never live, die on the cross for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later.

Jesus took the punishment we deserved so that we could receive forgiveness, new life, and an eternal relationship with God.

The Bible says:

"But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8

Salvation isn't something we earn.

It's a gift received by faith.

"For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift—not from works, so that no one can boast."
— Ephesians 2:8–9

Can God Really Forgive Me?

Yes.

No matter what you've done...

No matter how far you've wandered...

No matter how broken you feel...

Jesus is ready to forgive anyone who turns to Him in faith.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
— 1 John 1:9

You don't have to clean yourself up before coming to God.

You come to Him just as you are.

He is the One who transforms your heart.

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?

Following Jesus isn't about becoming religious.

It's about beginning a relationship with the One who knows you completely and loves you perfectly.

When you trust in Christ:

You receive God's forgiveness.

You become His child.

The Holy Spirit comes to live in you.

Your identity is made new in Christ.

You begin a lifelong journey of growing to become more like Jesus.

It's not about being perfect.

It's about walking with Him every day.

Come Home

Jesus told a story about a son who walked away from his father, made terrible choices, and lost everything. When the son finally decided to return home, he expected rejection.

Instead, his father ran to him.

He embraced him.

He celebrated him.

That story reminds us of God's heart toward us.

God isn't waiting with crossed arms, hoping you'll fail.

He's waiting with open arms, ready to welcome you home.

Maybe today is your day to come home.

Not because you've earned it.

But because Jesus has already made the way.

If You Want to Begin a Relationship with Jesus

The Bible doesn't give us a specific prayer that saves us. What matters is sincerely turning to God in faith, trusting in Jesus Christ, and confessing Him as Lord. If you're ready to do that, you can pray something like this in your own words:

A Prayer of Faith

Heavenly Father,

I know that I have sinned and that I cannot save myself.

Thank You for loving me and for sending Jesus Christ to die for my sins and rise again so that I can have forgiveness and new life.

Today I turn from my sin and place my trust in Jesus alone as my Savior and Lord.

Please forgive me, make me new, and help me follow You for the rest of my life.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and teach me to know You through Your Word.

Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

If You Prayed That Prayer...

If your prayer reflected genuine faith in Jesus, the Bible gives wonderful promises about what God has done.

The Bible says:

Your sins are forgiven. (Acts 10:43)

You have peace with God. (Romans 5:1)

You are a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

You are God's child. (John 1:12)

Nothing can separate you from God's love. (Romans 8:38–39)

These promises rest on God's faithfulness, not on changing emotions.
